Taking pictures has been an obsession since the age of 14. Around that time I had a basic darkroom set-up in the cellar of our house in upstate New York. My wife, two children and I have been residents of Florida since 1972. Since 2004 I have been taking digital photos; except when I go off track and experiment with plastic toy cameras for a break from technology. All subject matter is up for grabs; studio or nature. Lately, I have been using Nikon’s proprietary Creative Lighting System. This uses multiple wireless flash units off camera to achieve creative lighting effects. I have used this technique for product photos for internet sales and catalogue use. Other images can be seen on the web site of the Photographic Arts Society.
